Where Are the Entry Level Accounting Jobs?

I graduated with a bachelors degree in accounting in May and still no luck finding a job. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions? I have my resume up on most websites like careerbuilder.com, monster, indeed and linkedin. I've been to job fairs and have created profiles on company websites. Is there anything else I can do? Thanks so much for your help!

Oh and any idea what an entry level accountant should ask for in terms of salary around the Chicagoland area?

sign up with temp agencies – most handle temp assignments for accounting

I got my last 4 perm acctg jobs starting as a temp – going back 16 yrs – I've been the Controller at #4 for 6+ yrs now
