Suggestion:
This is something to discuss with a parent. They'll have to sign with you anyway. I work for a bank, and when my son got his first job he had my "other" free checking account. There's no limit on how many free accounts I can have now, but at that time I was only entitled to 2 free accounts. When my other son got a job he got his free account with my parents on it at their credit union. If you're saving for college or something like that, I'd go savings because you'd have to actually go to the bank to get cash. That way you'll have to actually think about it. If you have a debit card, you'll be more likely to spend it on frivolous stuff. Cash makes you think a little more because it's real money.
