Before you buy anything, ask yourself whether this is something you really need. For example, a great way for spending the money, which are usually thrown away, is a TV shop or one of those “safe” (and expensive, too) beauty products. Think twice, and then pay.
Try to earn money by yourself. In our country there is a very bad tradition that parents should support their children until the thirties and even later, while the child is studying hard. Do not let this “happy” tradition reach into your family too. It is possible to save some money, even if you’re a teenager. Earn money by typing and writing articles for other students. You don’t need to have some great skill and knowledge, and reward for effort is not bad. You can help older people who need help. Or, you can work in the local store over the holidays. Of course, you can always think about your talents and interests and try to use them to get some money for going to school, college or to learn some new language.
There are different ways to earn money. Maybe you will not become another Bill Gates, but you will have at least enough money for some of your needs which would disrupt the constant begging your parents for every little thing that you need. Use your skills and do everything you can to have partly financial independence and you will see what it means to be a human and to fight for “your piece of bread”, and that is very important lesson.
