Don’t Let Your Skin Care Product Bill Get Out of Hand

The skin care markets in the US and UK are worth billions and billions of dollars. Both of these countries have been enjoying steady growth over the last decade in these markets, with a 19% rise in sales in the UK and a very impressive 33% increase in the States. These countries have enjoyed such growth largely because of the increase in perceived importance of physical appearance in modern society, but also because disposable income has until recently been on the up. The average American household now spends on average $400 per year on skin care products, but now that everyone is feeling the pinch, ways of cutting this spending down are always being looked for. Lets examine some of the best methods of cutting your skin care bill down to size.

Internet Shopping. You would be amazed just how many bargains there are to be had by the online savvy surfer. Purchasing skin care products from foreign websites is one way you can save a few pennies, although there are lots of domestic sites where you can grab some bargains as well.

Buy In Bulk. It might seem odd to suggest buying more products to save yourself money but your wallet will thank you in the long run. Supermarkets usually offer good deals if you buy in bulk, but you can also get some good deals if you buy from smaller outlets as it is in their interests to sell large volumes to you.

Health Spa Products. Most people regard skin care products that you get from health spas high quality, but maybe a little expensive. You can actually get some great free samples though when you go for a spa treatment to try and encourage you to buy more. Additionally, what most people dont realise is that spas are often happy to give you a selection of product samples even if you are not having a treatment as they want you to try them and spread the word about how good they are.
