Anybody Work in Accounts Payable/recievable, Payroll, Bookkeeping?

Or any other similar position? How do you like the work? I'm considering entering the field myself after getting my associates degree in accounting. Do most people have decent luck getting an entry level position with this degree level? If it helps, I will have a military background and strong math skills. Also what kind of compesation can I expect? Thank you

depends on the economy, but you shouldn't have too much trouble getting one of those positions

if you don't get hired right away – go to temp agencies – even without experience, they will test you in basic bookkeeping questions and various computer programs – like Excel and Word and if you do good, you should have a good chance at getting temp assignments – good for experience and lots of companies only hire perms that start as temps
